This one is for me. Total selfish knitting.
I love this sweater so much! The yarn is so soft and the pattern is classic and very flattering.
The yarn comes from Minerva Crafts, it's called King Cole Misty DK in stone. It is so, so soft! It really makes this sweater and it's so cozy on (not at ALL itchy like you might think real wool could be).
This pattern is one I found on Ravelry. It's called the Mailin Sweater.
This is a top down pattern that is knit all together in one piece. I love that because sewing on sleeves after all my knitting is done is just kinda depressing to me. The finishing work always sits and waits (in my knitting world, that is).
My favourite part is definitely the cable detail in the front. It takes a basic sweater pattern and elevates it to a new level.
It's actually a little cooler here again today, with a little rain on the way. I'd say it's a perfect day to be wrapped in a little extra warmth.
